Very rough sketches on paper More polished sketches on paper Scanned in, sketched over in Sketchbook Pro Inked in Sketchbook Pro

Progress so far on a drawing of three of my friends. They are housemates. I haven’t started colouring yet, but I will.

Started with pencils and paper, scanned, and moved to Sketchbook Pro.

If this seems familiar, it’s because it is: I started in October 2010, but I never finished drawing the third housemate, so I started over again to try to make it consistent.

Also, that HUGE time frame might be why I’m reluctant to do things like requests and commissions. :/

More practice doodles. One of them is my friend Monnie. :) I don’t think I drew her right though. :( But she has a cute nose! :) The froghurt is also cursed. :( But you get your choice of toppings!

My friend George has kept the bottom picture in his wallet for about 14 years. It’d be one of the earliest remaining manga-styled drawings of mine. It’s just a random girl I drew for him in black biro to cheer him up one day.
I didn’t even know this, but every time he gets a new wallet, he carefully gets my drawing out, and he puts it in the new wallet.
We were out his way today (he lives 144km out of Adelaide) and today I visited him for his birthday. Before we drove back home, I drew him another picture of the same random girl. I wonder how long he’ll hold on to this one?
