I wasn’t really happy with my half-arsed version of Terezi before, so I put in some more effort. I think I like SketchBook Pro for sketching, but I’m not entirely sure about it for colouring. I coloured a bit of this in SketchBook Pro, but then I did the rest in Adobe Photoshop. Terezi Pyrope, from Homestuck.Dressed as Redglare in her FLARP outfit. I purchased SketchBook Pro tonight, and sketched this. Then I got impatient with myself, cause things weren’t looking right, not to mention the perpetual struggle with my skills shortcomings. Terezi Pyrope from Homestuck. More Copic Marker on visual diary paper, drawn last night and scanned at work as 64-bit Photoshop does not support TWAIN any more. I’m at work super-early so I can borrow the AWESOME SCANNER that emails me the file as a PDF and EVERYTHING! It also doesn’t butcher the colours as badly as my home scanner either. I think I may be in love with work’s scanner. At some point I need to get a proper sketchbook with better paper than the visual diary stuff for Copic markers: they’re a touch bleedy, which you can see from all my drawings so far. However, I am a big fat Copic n00b so I’m not really sure what I’m looking for. In other news, I’ve fallen into the Homestuck fandom-fail of not drawing realistic 13 year olds. BOOOOOOOOOBS. I should work on that.
